DescriptionUpward Bound/ TRIO helps prepare high school students for college by offering engaging and individualized services ranging from tutoring to community service to workshops on the WVU campus. Students can also get a taste of college life by participating in a residential summer program.

Enrollment:Restricted. Enrollment is limited to 9th-12th grade students from Clay-Battelle, Grafton, and Preston high schools. Students can apply to begin receiving services as early as the summer between 8th and 9th grades. Student should be the first in their families to earn a four-year degree, meet income-eligibility requirements, and/or be considered academically at-risk by federal definitions.
